Youth Ministry
Locust Grove Baptist Church is proud to introduce our new Youth Director, Aaron Wilson.
Aaron is a junior biblical studies and math student at Mid-Continent University. Since his call to the ministry he has had many opportunities to preach/teach at various youth events, has been a leader/counselor at a large student camp in Indiana, and has helped to plan and facilitate youth rallies and events at Grace Baptist Church. He was a student athlete at Murray High school and has a passion for students in the areas of Evangelism, Discipleship, Worship, and Outreach.

The Youth group at Locust Grove has also taken on a new name: L.I.T. (Leaders in Training).
The group meets Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. with a focus on Discipleship and worship part of the purpose statement. They also meet on Sunday nights at 6:00 p.m. and the focus for that night varies. It will be on one or more of the five parts of the purpose statement. We are striving to create an environment that is fun and gives the students a purpose in our church and community while shooting for our ultimate goal in growing spiritually.

to Illuminate each individuals gifts in ministry,

New Sunday evening services for youth! The services will have the theme of "Fusion" in order to emphasize the importance of coming together as one Body unified in Christ. Services are for youth and college age students. We will be studying verse by verse though the book of Romans. The book of Romans is an extraordinary book, filled with many theological ideas. Ultimately the book of Romans is designed to bring us closer to God. Services will begin at 6:00 PM every Sunday Evening and will be located in the "Upper Room" at Locust Grove Baptist Church. So come out and "Take the Dive" with us as we begin to discover who God is!
