Roger went with the youth to "Strength to Stand" and is leading Experiencing God on Wednesday's 6:30 p.m. and Sunday nights 6;00 p.m.!!

The Youth group at Locust Grove has also taken on a new name: L.I.T. (Leaders in Training).
The group meets Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. with a focus on Discipleship (currently Experiencing God) and worship part of the purpose statement. They also meet on Sunday nights at 6:00 p.m. and the focus for that night varies. It will be on one or more of the five parts of the purpose statement. We are striving to create an environment that is fun and gives the students a purpose in our church and community while shooting for our ultimate goal in growing spiritually.

UPDATE: Bro. Aaron Wilson, previous Youth Minister of Locust Grove Baptist Church was ordained and sent out into full time youth ministry at Briensburg Baptist Church in Benton. We are very excited about what the Lord is doing in his life. He was also married to Jamie Courtney the first of the year.
